Not every day does a hot air balloon fly close to your house and land on your road....well Friday night as we were on our way home we saw a balloon way off in the distance. After we were home for a little while, I received a text/picture from a friend who said look what landed on your road!! So we all jumped
in the car and went to take a look! It turns out this balloon was in a race from Helen to the Atlantic..(or rather to see who could get the closest because the weather delayed them from starting on time). At 8:45 they had to be on the ground with a witness! So Wayne Randall and his family were the witnesses for this balloon family. They were from Tampa, Florida and they seemed to be very nice people! They give rides 2-3 times a week and only do the race 3-4 times a year. If you are ever in Tampa look them up and take a balloon ride. I hope they won the race!!
